The e-scooter follows a conventional design language similar to internal combustion scooters in the market. It is suspended by telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is done by drum units at both ends. Powering the V48 is a 250W BDLC motor that draws power from a 48 V/24 Ah battery. The charging time and range vary depending on the type of battery the scooter is equipped with. On a lead-acid battery, the V 48 takes about 8-10 hours for a full charge offering a range of 45-50 km. Whereas, in the case of the Lithium-ion battery, it takes about 5-6 hours to charge completely while returning a higher range of 60-65 km.
